Many of you know that I recently attended Bloggers on Bourbon, a blogging meetup in New Orleans. I had a little bit of help attending from a few companies, and I wanted to say a special thank you to Vistaprint, who supplied my business cards for the small blogging conference.
As a relatively not-savvy Minnesota mom blogger, I wasn’t equipped to network with other website owners, marketers and sponsors since I didn’t have professional business cards to distribute. Vistaprint offered to provide me with two boxes of cards so I could help those I met remember me! Since I met some fabulous people, I was so happy to have my cards on hand to share. Even better, I have plenty left to help me get over my fear of self-promotion and share information about this little site when it comes up in conversation!
The blogging business cards turned out beautifully, and I’m so happy that Vistaprint was willing to give them to me! I ordered a custom, 2-sided design with a glossy surface.
My only comment on the quality is that a handful of the cards have a tiny line along the bottom that should have been cut off. As the background of the cards was white along the edge, I don’t think this was a “bleed” issue, but it’s a minuscule issue. It’s hardly noticeable, and I would still distribute the cards with the line on them.
I also have to give a BIG kudos to Jeff from Vistaprint, who helped expedite my order when we realized I submitted it too late. With standard shipping, the cards would have arrived after the event. Jeff was able to change my order and have the cards shipped directly to my hotel via 2-day shipping to ensure I had them in my hands before the event kick-off. Now that’s great customer service!
Vistaprint is a very popular place to order business cards online, and for good reason! And for prices that start out as free + shipping and handling, it’s a great way to start with your promotional printed items. I couldn’t be happier with my cards!
