I always pay sales tax when ordering through Amazon (unless it’s another seller). Other states are subject as well:
“Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the states of Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington are subject to tax.”

Just got the Britax Marathon in Ashley Floral on elitecarseats.com last night for $175.99 no tax or shipping, plus when i send in the info, I’ll get a $9.99 rebate from Parents Magazine for opting out of a free subscription, so our new Marathon cost us only $166! Unfortunately I just went back to the site and the Ashley is sold out, but there are others on there for $199, including a CS in Emma, and like I said, no tax (only Mass.) or shipping.
